Our Story
When Kyle Leissner received his first PC and a dial-up internet connection in the early 90s, he was amazed by the capabilities of this revolutionary new technology.
That connection ignited a life-long passion and led Kyle to found WireStar Networks in 2007. Headquartered in College Station, Texas, WireStar is now a premiere provider of internet, IT, and managed solutions with an emphasis on multiple dwelling unit (MDU) properties.
We’ve grown into an industry leader with projects spanning nationwide–and we didn’t get here by luck. Commitment to our customers, and dedication to staying on the cutting edge of technology, is what sets us apart from our competitors.

2015 – College Station Fiber Optic Ring
2018 – 1st 10GB Wireless Link
2020 – Company added 4 towers and multiple links to expand service area geographically around Brazos Valley
2021 – Company consistenly added Multi Family properties throughout Texas
2022 – Company added 50 Multi Family projects spanning the entire US
2023 – Refined DPSK deployment and automation – grew multi family footprint to over 100 properties
